Day 1: Welcome to Auckland
On arrival in Auckland you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in. You’re free to explore Auckland before an evening Welcome Reception with your Tour Director and fellow travellers.

Day 2: Auckland to Bay of Islands
Depart Auckland over the Harbour Bridge then through Orewa and the scenic Hibiscus Coast, birthplace of Sir Edmund Hillary. Walk among the Kauri trees at Parry Kauri Park. Explore Whangarei, the northern-most city in New Zealand, and then it’s off to Paihia in the Bay of Islands. Experience natural wonders and spectacular scenery as you cruise to Cape Brett and through the ‘Hole in the Rock’.

Day 3: Bay of Islands
Choose one from a range of Included Choice sightseeing experiences. You have the option to discover Kerikeri’s local arts and crafts or take a tour to historic Russell. Go sailing on a tall ship or dolphin-watching on the bay. Play a round of golf or enjoy a dinner cruise on the Waitangi River. (B)
Day 4: Bay of Islands to Auckland
You’ll have the opportunity to visit the Waitangi Treaty Reserve. Later, enjoy the lush farmland scenery as you return to Auckland. Dinner is at The Langham. Your personal degustation menu is prepared for you from the freshest quality ingredients, including mouth-watering seafood and desserts.

Day 5: Auckland to Rotorua
After a sightseeing tour of Auckland, head south to the Waitomo Caves and Glowworm Grotto where a local guide will lead you through the grotto by boat. Your journey continues to Rotorua.
Tonight enjoy a traditional Maori Hangi feast and concert for an insight into Maori culture at the Tamaki Family Marae.

Day 6: Rotorua
Today choose one from a range of Included Choice sightseeing experiences. You have the option to join the Kiwi Encounter at Rainbow Springs Nature Park, discover Maori culture at Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland, see the Agrodome Sheep Show, relax in the seclusion of your own hot mineral pool or unwind with a facial treatment in the Lake Spa Retreat at the Polynesian Spa. Perhaps ride the amphibious Rotorua Duck or the luge at Rotorua Skyline. (B)
Day 7: Rotorua to Wellington
Travelling from the mountains to the sea, you’ll view Huka Falls and drive along the shores of Lake Taupo. Discover the alpine scenery of Mt. Ruapehu, Tongariro National Park and the dairy farms of Manawatu.
‘You’re invited’ to Shenandoah for a unique experience. The historic villa’s owners, Simon and Claudia, will show you around their property, which includes a unique private collection of Harley Davidson motor cycles. Enjoy afternoon tea in their garden then take a short tour to see the local wildlife including friendly Highland cows. Continue along the Kapiti Coast to Wellington. See the city from Mt. Victoria on your sightseeing tour. Join your Tour Director and new-found friends this evening for a farewell dinner.

Day 8: Farewell from Wellington
This morning visit Te Papa, the Museum of New Zealand and explore the fascinating exhibits at your leisure, including their unique Marae or Maori Meeting House.
Later you will be transferred to Wellington Airport for your onward flight. (B)
