Naumi Hotels opens first Auckland location

The Singapore-based design hotel group, Naumi Hotels, is to launch its first New Zealand hotel with Naumi Auckland Airport.

The new Naumi Auckland Airport is the third property designed by the Singapore-based group, following in the footsteps of the Naumi Hotel Singapore and Naumi Liora Singapore.

Located in the south of the city near the airport, it is a very stylish stopover. At just minutes from the airport, it is an attractive option for travellers looking for a convenient base for the night.

But more than just convenience, the hotel also offers suites with private patios and balconies, an outdoor swimming pool, a beautiful English garden and a fully equipped gym.

The Naumi is nearby to the famous Villa Maria wine estate, plus the historic Otuataua Stonefields Reserve and Mangere Mountain, so there are plenty of options for those who want to get out and about to explore.

Though the hotel group is based in Singapore, this is very much a New Zealand hotel: the theme pays homage to New Zealand’s native Tui bird and the building was designed by Auckland-based interiors and architecture practices.

Gaurang Jhunjhnuwala, chief executive of Naumi Hotels Australia & New Zealand, explained that the hotel offers something different for those planning a holiday in the country.

“Naumi Hotels is anything but a cookie-cutter hotel brand, moving away from the sterile and the impersonal by offering micro, bespoke experiences for every guest,” he said.

If you’re in the process of working out a plan for your New Zealand trip, the Naumi may be one to consider.
